Presbyterian College – Walk a Mile in her Shoes

Beyond Abuse participated in Presbyterian College’s “Walk A Mile in Her Shoes” on Tues April 17, 2018.  The event raised awareness about the serious tragedy of violence against women. PC male students showed solidarity by walking in women’s high heels in an effort to protest sexual and gender based violence. The underlying idea of this playful event is that to understand someone else, you must walk a mile in their shoes.  Education Specialist, Melissa Macias represented the agency at this event.
