Kazee named President for PAHRA Board of Directors
Laura Kazee, Director of Finance and HR at Beyond Abuse, was recently appointed to serve as President for the Piedmont Area Human Resource Association for 2015. She will also serve as the SHRM Advocacy Captain for SC’s Third Congressional District and will be on the SC SHRM Bylaws Committee. Laura has been with Beyond Abuse since 2008.
Piedmont Area Human Resource Association (PAHRA) recently met at Piedmont Technical College and confirmed its Board of Directors for 2015. The group meets monthly for lunch and the presentation of a professional development topic by featured speakers. Meetings are designed to improve the human resource function of the members’ companies through education, discussion and networking. PAHRA is the local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) which is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management.
