Beyond Abuse is excited to announce the following updates to its staff:
Brandon Platt has joined the agency as Outreach Coordinator and will be providing awareness and educational programs in the community with focus on college campuses. Having served three years in the Peace Corps in the Ukraine as an English teacher, Brandon holds a MA Degree in European History from Indiana State University and a BA Degree in History from USC Upstate.
Jennifer Azzarano has joined the agency as Education Specialist and will be providing educational programs in the three county area with focus on k-12th grade students, faculty and administration. She served 4 years in the US Navy as a Navy Corpsman, working in direct patient care as well as education. She is currently pursuing her BS Degree in Human Services.
Katelen Barger has joined the agency as Family Advocate. In this role, she will provide support and coordinate services for victims and their families. She holds MS Degree in Applied Developmental Psychology from Clayton State University and a BS Degree in Psychology from Lander University.
Elaine Morton has joined the agency as Client Services Administrator where she will provide intake and crisis support to victims and their families.
Elizabeth Wise has been promoted to Victim Services Manager. In this role she will be responsible for Victim Advocacy including recruitment, training, and management of all volunteers. She has been with the Beyond Abuse for three years and has served as Outreach Coordinator and Victim Advocate. She holds a BS Degree in Psychology from Lander University.
