1st Baptist Church – Community Day of Caring

Volunteers from The First Baptist Church in Greenwood, SC spent their Saturday morning painting restrooms and giving a much needed facelift at Beyond Abuse.  Volunteers included John Nave, Mary Lynne Westbrook, Andy Westbrook, Kent Atkins, and Richy Williams.   Each year the church offers a day of caring to local nonprofits.    Church members spent 16 man hours and provided paint and materials for the project.  The staff was amazed at the difference it made to provide a more pleasant environment for clients.  This is part of an ongoing initiative by the agency to refurbish the facility.
