Countybank employees volunteer for UW Day of Caring

Many thanks to Countybank employees for participating in the United Way Day of Caring Sept 25,2015.  We now have a fresh new look in our lobby and family room.  Before and after pictures to be posted soon!

EATON donation to expand Outreach program

Tony Woods ( 2nd from right), Corporate Controller with Eaton, presents a check to Beyond Abuse to be used for translation and printing of agency forms, brochures, and documents to facilitate outreach opportunities in the Hispanic community.

Mr. Johns Pizza night – Oct 22, 2015

Our second annual Mr. John’s Pizza night will be held on Thursday Oct 22 from 5 – 9 pm. The Board of Directors will once again be competing against the staff at Beyond Abuse to see who can raise the most $$$$$$. Staff will be defending their title. Come on out and join the fun.

Dr. Robert Stevenson filmed and published our new video showing men in Greenwood taking the pledge to end violence against women and children.  Please see link.

 

Project Linus donates blankets 8 30 15

Carol Scales, with the local chapter of “Project Linus”, delivered handmade blankets (considered by members as a ‘Labor of Love’) to be given to children seen at the agency who have been victims of physical or sexual abuse.  Many thanks to these wonderful “blanketeers” for such a  thoughtful gift.

A big THANK YOU to our friend, Stanley Brooks for replacing the light fixtures on our modular office building.  If he looks familiar, it is because he also was part of Fujifilm’s winning dance team that performed Thriller during the Dancing with the Greenwood Stars event held this past April.
