Staff participates in Sex Trafficking AwarenessTraining
Beyond Abuse staff participated in a very informative 2 hour training on Sex Trafficking on Friday Sept 14, 2018. The training was conducted by SWITCH, a non profit based in Upstate SC. The training focused on how to recognize red flags for human trafficking, how to report suspected human trafficking cases, and how to respond with appropriate resources to individuals who have experienced sexual exploitation.
SWITCH’S mission is to fight human trafficking and sexual exploitation in the Upstate of South Carolina through awareness, prevention, fighting demand, intervention and restoration.
