Staff attend training with focus on LGBTQ survivors

SCCADVASA’s Nyomi Guzman, Prevention & Inclusion Specialist and Cory France, Communications Coordinator recently conducted onsite training for Beyond Abuse staff, volunteers, and interns on providing best practice and inclusive services to LGBTQ+ Survivors of sexual assault.  During the training attendees participated in open discussion and activities to introduce appropriate pronouns and terminology.
